Once again I take my hat off to Alison for her commitment to the products we sell. When I was away in the Daintree last month, Al retired our big 1950's grinder, well it kind of retired itself to be honest, and started to use the porlex everyday. Wow what a difference the precision hand grind makes to the flavour. The Presso and Porlex are a great one two combination. I wonder how many calories you burn between grinding, frothing and pushing? Also loving the flavours from the hand grind. This Social Coffee from Toronto is starting to grow on me.
I had a great visit to Toronto a few weeks back. It was great to catch up with some of the other Presso folks. We had fun shooting this video on my last night there.
We've got some more videos in the works too. Look for some new video tips and tricks over the coming weeks.
Q. What size tamper does the presso require?
A. 49 mm
Once you become addicted to making coffee without plugging into the grid, you can't help looking for cooler non-electric gadgets. Our latest discovery is the Porlex Grinder from Japan. A number of our friends have used this great grinder so we thought we should give it a go. Here are some pictures from our morning Presso ritual with the added pleasure of hand grinding our own.

We are very excited to announce that the Porlex, a perfect pal for the Presso, is now available. Our plan is to put together bundles of exceptional coffee-making gear and products.

Watch the presso perform over a few thousand photography frames.
Wow. Have a look at this beautiful bit of work showing off the Presso. So Sexy. Oh please note, you Presso viewers, that this is one of the earlier models of the Presso with a Double Spouted Portafilter.
What's the difference between a Presso and a ROK?
Who better to answer this question than the inventor and designer of the non‑electric espresso making wonder machine--Mr Patrick Hunt.
We are very proud to announce that the Presso Blend is now available. To get the most out of your Presso, it is very important to ensure you use the freshly roasted and ground coffee.
Our Presso blend is handcrafted, hand-packed, uniquely selected coffee, roasted with love by an Artisan Roaster in Byron Bay.
An amazing bold and rich espresso blend with hints of chocolate, butterscotch, Indian spice and earth, thick syrupy mouthfeel, beautiful as a black or milk coffee.
